The copper foil coil handling truss robot can complete the automatic handling operation of copper foil coil materials. The truss manipulator cooperates with the AGV robot transportation according to the instructions issued by the WMS warehouse management system, and automatically completes the task actions (including the inbound and outbound of empty/semi-finished rollers, automatic weighing, automatic scanning, automatic inventory management, and free selection of finished/empty rollers), improving the overall efficiency of the production line.

Overall plan and layout

The overall plan consists of columns, X axis, Y axis, Z axis, gripper, electrical control system, etc. This device has fast response speed, stable operation, and can achieve long-distance heavy-duty handling.

workflow

1. The upper computer issues a command to transport the truss robot to the designated workstation;

2. The truss robotic arm places clamps to grab copper foil rolls;

3. The Z-axis moves upward, and there is a pressure stop mechanism on the gripper. After triggering the switch signal between the copper foil coil and the AGV material cart, it indicates that the Z-axis fixture is in contact with the copper foil coil material cart and continues to move up a set distance before stopping;

4. The truss robot transports the copper foil roll to the designated position, lowers the gripper, and when the copper foil roll and AGV material cart reach the designated height and pass the reserved safety distance, stops descending, opens the gripper, and completes the command to place the copper foil roll and material cart.
