The five axis slotting robotic arm is designed to meet the automatic slotting operation of adapter workpieces after manual feeding and positioning in production. According to the established procedure, process different adapters to penetrate the grooves on the surface of the product.

This truss robot consists of a frame body, slotted concave mold, convex mold positioning device, convex film horizontal feed device, convex mold lifting and pressing device, detection system, and electrical control system.

Main process:

① Manually place the workpiece on the convex mold and center it (there are differences in arcs between different batches, and those with significant differences cannot be used);

② Press the start button, and the horizontal translation device will automatically move the workpiece below the concave mold;

③ The lifting device presses the adapter onto the concave mold;

④ The five axis robotic arm drives the forming tool to slot at the corresponding position;

⑤ After slotting is completed, it will automatically descend and move to the initial position for manual cutting.

This five axis slotting robot has a smooth and crack free groove surface, and protects the unslotted parts, especially the front and side edges of the product, which are clean, free of stains, bumps, and corners.
